  • General Responsibilities


    The COE Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for partnering with Hertz leaders on financial related aspects of the business.  The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for assisting in the creation of monthly performance reviews, consolidated monthly forecasts and annual operating plan, and ad hoc analyses as needed.  This role is also responsible for enhancing the monthly performance management process and leveraging analytics to improve the reliability and accuracy of reporting. Reporting is reviewed with senior leadership to inform of opportunities and support key business decisions.  In this fast-paced and high-exposure role, you will interact with senior leaders and global finance teams throughout the organization.


    • Assist with management performance reporting to facilitate reviews with senior leadership including analysis, enhancements and consolidation 
    • Variance analysis of operating results vs forecasts, annual operating plan and prior years
    • Ensures timely and accurate reporting with full understanding of variances to prior forecast, annual operating plan and prior year performance
    • Manage Excel and Hyperion Planning model to consolidate COE Forecasts on a monthly basis
    • Assists in process and preparation of annual operating plan, understanding key drivers and variances to prior year
    • Help to ensure alignment between business data system and accounting system of record
    • Provides analytical support on various special projects to enhance the financial decision making process

    Mandatory Requirements

    Educational Background:

    BA/BS Required; Finance/Business or related, or an MBA preferred


    4 or more years of experience preferred in financial planning and analysis or public accounting in analytical/reporting role
